Harry

Harry Schikora was born in Fairbanks, AK and has lived throughout Alaska. He joined Madden Real Estate in 2010 after having been previously licensed with Marston Real Estate when living in Anchorage, AK during the early 1990's and with Jack White in Anchorage in 2016. Previously an Associate Broker licensed in Alaska, Harry is currently with Mijangos Real Estate in Los Cabos, Mexico. He has enjoyed the beautiful Baja lifestyle for over 40 years after his first trip visiting in 1974 with his family. Harry enjoys both the Baja living, easy lifestyle and visiting his children and family in Alaska during the summers.  Having gone to school K-6 in the Mexican school system in Los Barriles, Harry speaks English and Spanish plus is familiar with the Mexican customs and culture. In 2008 Harry purchased the bar Buzzards Bay Cantina in Los Barriles, a popular 'Cheers' style hangout that boasted "The Beer & Best Burgers in Baja!"

Harry's in depth real estate experience is evident by his being a former Associate Broker in Alaska, named as Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®) by the National Association of Realtors® in the United States. Previously active in sales on both sides of the border, Harry is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Los Cabos Multiple Listing Service, plus Los Cabos Board of Realtors, known as AMPI where he serves on the board as treasurer. Harry is licensed in Baja California Sur and has passed CONOCER Professional Real Estate training that recognizes him through the Secretary of Public Education, as a federally certified professional capable and competent to do real estate transactions in all 32 states of the Republic of Mexico. Harry has also earned the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation with a Guild certification from the Luxury Home Marketing Institute.

Besides real estate, Harry has a passion for golf, fishing, boating, hunting, skiing, travel and many other outdoor activities. Like so many who adopt this Los Cabos lifestyle, he is really enjoying, "Living the Dream"!
